Since that unit is in the dash, there is no way to reset it, provided it may have one. There are a couple of things to try.Turn the unit off with the power button in the controls then, the first thing would be to locate the fuse on the vehicle that controls that unit. Pull out the fuse. If you cannot locate the fuse, disconnect the battery again. You only have to remove one cable from the battery. Touch the one removed from the battery to the other one that is still connected. This will discharge any remaining charge in the system. Then reconnect the cable to the battery and turn on the ignition and try the radio again. If this does not work, then the unit has failed when the battery was changed and must be replaced.

Check and replace the blower speed control module or resistor.

It's not complicated ! when you turn on the overhead light with one or either switch you see 2 lights. BUT there's another bulb between them that is the one that comes on with a door opening. Remove cover and replace the burned out middle bulb.

It can only be a few things Gail. Fuse is the first thing to check. Then check the switch for power and continuity. You have changed the resistor, so we assume the new resistor is good. The only thing left is the blower motor itself. Remove it and add 12 volts to it.

Set the blower control on high with max a/c then try to tap on the blower motor and if it run or starts and stops replace the motor.

limited info generic answer ---wont complete the test ??? need more clarification --is the obdll not communicating --or is it failing do to not ready conditions --as to the way you wording your question would suspect some kind of ecu failure or harness

There is a short in the wires causing the fuse to blow. Check the wires at bend points and how they run to the fuse box. Something is probably pinching or rubbing the wire cause a short.

You could also get the vehicle plugged into a Diagnostic System or an OBD2 scanner to see if it is giving Diagnostic Trouble Codes, (DTC's).
