The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.

That was a reset, try a relearn. You'll need a charger on the battery. Ten minutes on, thirty seconds off. Do this three times, then try to start. If that doesn't work, then it has to go on a scanner to see what happened. Sparks like yours usually don't hurt anything. But they can spike and burn a computer. Next time put the positive side on first.

You could have a parasitic drain. Something that is left on in the car and drains the battery. It could also be a corroded terminal on the battery where the alternator is not getting power to charge the battery . Clean the post and the connector of all deposits and install those felt washers under the terminals to impede further corrosion.

A U1041 code means that communications with the electronic brake control module are lost, and this may have happened because:
• Electronic Brake Control Module harness is open or shorted
• Faulty Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)
• Electronic Brake Control Module circuit poor electrical connection
To fix the issue, inspect the issues mentioned above and check that all the wirings and connectors are intact-nothing should be broken or corroded.

If the engine stops revving at a certain RPM, it's probably a safety feature and you need to replace a sensor.
On some cars, if a crankshaft or camshaft position sensor fails, the computer will guesstimate when to fire the spark plugs using information from the sensor that DIDN'T fail. But to protect the engine, the computer will only allow it to rev to a certain speed.
The most common culprit is the crank position sensor -- try replacing that first. Probably pretty cheap online.

You need to do a hard reset of your clock. On the touchscreen, select "MENU", when the screen changes, touch the lower left corner and hold until the PIN screen appears. Now enter the PIN code 295660, touch "NEXT", "PAGE", then "SET TIME".

You need to get down lower. I had to tear apart the dash to get to the lower air duct where a piece of candy was rolling back and forth.

The wires could be shorting or have a bad connection any where in the length from the radio to the sub woofer. I lost all sound in my Tahoe and thought that the connection was at the radio but never found a problem. One day on a hard left turn a loose chair in the back area of the Tahoe struck the right side panel which has the speaker and everything starter working.

Under the hood in the power distribution/fuse box, it's on the driver's side between the firewall and the battery! Thanks and have a great day!

Tow/haul mode enables the operator to achieve enhanced shift performance when towing or hauling a load. When tow/haul mode is selected, the tow/haul switch input signal to the body control module (BCM) is momentarily toggled to zero volts. This signals the powertrain control module (PCM) to extend the length of time between upshifts and increase transmission line pressure. Cycling the tow/haul switch again disables tow/haul mode and returns the transmission to a normal shift pattern.

Would't trust it , take an have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes checked by a qualified repair shop with a factory or professional scan tool . Auto part stores can not check BCM code's .
