Drive belt needed to be replaced on mine... Mazda dealership told me that the manufacturer knows that the drive belt is not strong enough... when I ran the air conditioner it was horrible sounding!!! It took the dealership repair 2 days to figure it out!

Most likely the master fuse was never installed from factory or dealership or it is blown. Most times there is a fuse labeled trailer in relay/fuse box under hood.

fix the coolin lines going to the tansmission cooler its probably loose fitting going into the radiatior cooler 16mm wrench should fix u up 5/8"is the same as 16mm.

This is a fairly easy job. Do each cylinder one by one (removal and install), make sure to reinstall the coil on the same exact cylinder (DO NOT MIX UP). 1. Remove coil retaining scre 2. Pull upward on the coil to remove. 3. Remove spark plug (using a spark plug socket). 4. Properly gap new spark plug (if applicable). 5. Apply sprark plug anti-seize compound on plug threads. 6. Install plug. 7. Aplly coil boot grease on the coils' rubber boot tips. 8. Reinstall coil.

if mazda wont email you a pic of the dash and instrument cluster, and you don't have a helpful local dealership,,, the easiest thing may be to check your local parts store for a CHILTON or HAYNES manual for your model, either of those should have the information you need.


and you could always try to buy an original owners manual either thru a dealer or maybe ebay

blown head gasket

at idle the alternator can just keep up with maximum current demands .. as it regulates on and off you will see a slight change in brightness .. at slightly higher idle speeds that should go away .. if it gets worse then you might check the battery termanal connections (clean) and the alternator brush assembly and belt tension .. when at idle the current thru the brush assembly is maximum and worn burshes may start to arc ... although i would not expect significant brush wear in just a year or so .. so i suspect you are just on the edge of alternator regulation .. everything is on at once so current usage is maximum and alternator output is at its lowest because of the low rpm .. probably not a problem .. just one of those little things that bothers us until we find out what it is ..

check the each door switch. manually push on and off the switch. observe if there is a reaction. if none, the switch is defective.

On certain models of cars both foriegn and domestic they have a OnStar button, it may be Mazda's answer to OnStar, I would call the Mazda dealership and ask for the service center, and ask them what that button is for.........Hope this helps.

NO YEAR CAR TOLD. NOR VIN. OVER LOADING THE GEM WILL NEVER BE FUN./ NO LAMPS ADDED, MAKE MODEL # OR COUNT TOLD ARE THE LAMPS LED OR NOT? I GUESS WIRED TO THE PARK LAMP FEED. NO CAR TOLD YEAR, AND MATTERS HUGE.

First I'd access the Mazda dealer. If they can't identify the part or supply one, check with the aftermarket supply businesses. Best thing will be to take pictures of the part. You can also access many online sources and diagrams to identify the part and perhaps then to find it from a supplier. If all else fails I'd access the wrecking yards especially the online ones and the self service ones. This may be a part that is not just on one model or model year. Last resort might be to find someone who can 3-D or otherwise print a new one for you. If it looks like a rather simple item you may be even able to make one yourself. What the item is made of may not be the material it has to be made of.

check and test brake light switch--shift interlock---any codes --damaged or disconnected trans linkage/cable

You probably need a good auto-electrician, but pull out your multimeter and check all the fuses without removing them. On top of each fuse you will see two contacts. Use the probes on those with the meter set to ohms and check for continuity. I wonder if the Body Control Module is faulty though, in which case sell it at auction all clean, polished and detailed. Fuse 26 is the door locks. 27 is Audio and Interior Lamps

English At my Mazda tribute bj.2008 the alarm suddenly goes off. What can be the reason for this and can this be solved? well the alarm was tripped (earth quake shake or heavy trucks near buy, or or the alarm needs service. (sensor too) if no need for alarm turn it off. like mine all are. hate them.

Make sure when you changed the plugs thsat you did not cross any of the plug wires. if you put any wires in the wrong place you could do serious damage to the engine!

Run tests to see. Do you have spark to the plugs? You can use your inductive timing light or a cheap inductive spark tester pen to find out. Test fuel pressure Key on--Engine off, using a fuel pressure tester. Most parts stores have these on their "loan-a-tool" program. Use a noid light to test for injector pulse. Run a compression test.

How do you know there's no spark? If engine cranks but won't start, that doesn't necessarily mean a no-spark situation. Try cranking the engine, then remove a spark plug and see if it's wet. If no, the problem is no fuel. If the fuel gauge is near empty, try adding a gallon of gas to the tank. If there's still no fuel to the engine, and the most likely reasons are 1) a clogged fuel filter or 2) the fuel pump relay has failed (fairly unlikely) or 3) the fuel pump itself has failed. If you haven't changed the filter for a while, might as well change it -- they're not very expensive. If that doesn't work, find the fuel pump relay (check owner's manual or online) and see if you can replace it temporarily with a non-essential relay from a different circuit.
