Things you will needSpark Plug Socket And Wrench of the correct size for your spark plugsBasic Instructions.Step 1Locate your spark plugslook for other obstructions besides your spark plug wiresif you have any other obstructions you will need to remove them as well to gain access to your spark plugs.Step 2 Remove the spark plug wire for one single spark plug at a time.this will insure you will not replace the wrond spark plug wire to the incorrect spark plug,if not done this way you could change the firing order of your engine.Step 3 With your spark plug Socket and wrench rotate the spark plug in a counter clock wise direction for removing.Step 4After you have removed your spark plug insert your new replacement spark Plug into your spark plug socket before inserting it into the correct location. spark plug sockets are made to hold on to the spark plug for easy removal and install. Step 5insert your new spark plug,before you rotate your spark plug for tightening rotate the spark plug a 1 quarter turn in the counter clock wise direction, then start tightening the spark plug by rotating it in a clockwise directionThis will insure you will not strip the threads.Step 6Continue rotation your spark plug in the clock wise direction untill snug, then with just a lil more pressure tighten it up just a little more.be sure to not put to much force on the spark plug after it has been snug, you just have to apply a little more pressure but not to much that could cause it to break.Step 7 After tightening the spark plug replace the correct spark plug wire.then move on to the next spark plug and follow the same instructions.if you have any other visiable obstructions preventing you access for replacing your spark plugs you will need instructions on how to remove them parts. i have just instructed you on how to remove and reinstall the spark plugs only.

2. Every car manufacturer has specialty tools that are needed. This includes all foreign and domestic.
3. Any tool that is REQUIRED to repair a car will not be cheap because the manufacturer does not want you tinkering with it. Therefore they engineer it to require the tool.

what motor do you have? check all the hoses see to see if any are leaking and see if the coolant level is full. may have a stuck thermostat

2008 mazda tribute. replacing the starter. I am not sure what sub model or engine size you have in the suv so i will use the 3.0 engine , the method should be close to do .First remove the negative battery terminal from battery. next raise truck off the ground and support with stands.Remove the air cleaner and then remove the shift cable at transmission.Remove the two transmission bracket bolts, detach the wire harness retainer and position aside the transmission cable and bracket.remove the two starter wires on the starter and set aside, (make sure battery negative cable is off)Remove the two starter bolts and then pull starter out.to install reverse directions.hope this is helpful. i will enclose a few diagrams to help you. good day.

If i had a idea what the symbol on the flashing light looked like i might have a better idea as to what it could be .

Possible causes are the starter, starter solenoid, battery, battery cables, neutral safety switch, and ignition switch.The starter is mounted on the engine where the engine and transmission connect.A mechanic would check the small wire on the solenoid for voltage when you turn the key to start.

due a service i think by the dealer who can put the light out with dealer only software

The switch in the door frame may be faulty, see if you can press it in and out, it looks like a small button near the door hinges, spray it with wd 40 to get it working again!
