Check this link, its possible that help you: Etrailer Instructions 119176KIT

Also, you can downloaded the instructions from www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com for the wiring and other choice for 7pin to 12N, this is answer to other Jaguar's owner comment...
2002 X type saloon, an independent towbar specialist fitted a trailer socket (12n) using only a 7 way bypass relay with integral indicator buzzer. This worked fine but the only annoyance was the reversing sensors going beep everytime I was backing up with a trailer attached.

I've fitted the same witter towbar to my 06 estate. Looking at wiring options I can either:-

1) Refit the 7 way bypass relay (free) but involves splicing into the loom.

2) Have an independent towbar specialist fit a proper "plug in" box of tricks that doesn't need any splicing into the vehicles wiring (â£145). This allegedly disables the reversing sensors (although the girl on reception didn't really know what she was talking about).

3) Buy C2S 33125 from Jaguar for â£100+vat & fit it myself. This is the official X type plug in wiring kit which consists of 3 looms and a box of tricks, but the parts guy didn't know if this disabled the reverse sensors.

Hope helps.

I have been with same problem on a BMW 325i.
It is because you need to add oil. Less oil= extrem temperature!
try to add oil, better to change oil and filter.

It takes a deal of time and patience to charge via the cigarette lighter socket though there should soon have been enough power to open the boot.

It should be possible to access the end of the main battery lead in the engine compartment in order to jump start the engine, provide power to open the boot or to charge the battery, if the battery is healthy enough to accept a charge. Some cars with a remote battery provide terminals for the purpose though I don't know whether the Jag does. If it doesn't the main battery cable terminates at the starter motor.

Loss of compression can be due to a bent head, bent valve not closing all the way, bad head gasket, hole in the piston, dropped piston, bad or broken piston rings, compression checked on cylinder with valve in the open position.

Possible intermittent power connection to A/C compressor clutch or maybe overcharged, if it does not work on very hot days, pressures may exceed cutout limit.
