code P0601 control module ROM malfunction conditions.PCM has to be replaced with new correct software calibration.

Does the indicator light come on when you turn the defroster on? Have you checked to see where the wires come in on the rear window to see if they might have gotten disconnected. It usually happens right at the point where the wire connects to the grid.

check fuses under the hood, [10 amp]

Perhaps get yourself a a/c bypass pulley...it replaces the one on the a/c...so you can simply use the original belt ...check ebay or your local parts store

Euc? Do you mean ecu, the computer? Don't think so. Something in the cluster, maybe the little voltage regulator on the back of the cluster. But if the engine light is flashing, definitely have it scanned for trouble codes, first, to see why the light is on. The light may indicate a poor link or connection with the cluster.

Probably not as they should be hydraulic and self adjust from oil pressure. However the rocker arm bushes wear on the pivots or shafts and they can put the tappets out of adjustment. IF the rattle is heard only on acceleration then it will be detonation and that is from wrong ignition timing or wrong air/fuel ratio. Run fault codes to see if there are faulty sensors.

What is the year, make and model and what was the reason that it failed?

You need to have the idle learn procedure performed, only way that I know is with a scan tool.

Radiator fan is supposed to blow anytime the A/C is on. Thats how you check to see if a fan is working, cause its supposed to blow anytime the A/C is on , but not neccesarily anytime the engine is running.

may be the switch itself needs the contacts replaced or a different switch installed..

Is the alternator belt tight?

a little light behind the switch/ dash, needs replaced
