The courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit of the body control module (BCM) supplies battery positive voltage to the dome lamp, the liftgate lamps, and the map lamps. When any door is opened, the door jamb switch contacts close providing a door open input to the BCM. The BCM then provides a ground to the interior lamps with the switch in the AUTO position. The interior lamps receive a ground at G401 with the switch in the ON position. Important: If the liftgate is opened after all the modules go to sleep, the dome light will not come on. The liftgate ajar switch input to the BCM will not wake up the BCM once it has gone to sleep, so the dome light will not come on. Once the BCM gets an input to wake it up, from remote keyless entry (RKE) or a door handle, the dome light will turn on when the liftgate is opened. If the driver inadvertently leaves any interior lamp ON, the BCM will turn it OFF after a 20 minute time-out. The courtesy lamps will turn OFF immediately if the ignition switch is turned to the ON position or approximately 20 seconds after all doors are closed. The courtesy lamps are controlled by the body control module (BCM). Inputs from the dome lamp switch and the door ajar switches are monitored by the BCM. When a door ajar switch is closed, or the dome lamp switch is turned to the ON position, the BCM supplies the B+ for the courtesy lamps. With out a factory Tech2 scan tool or equivalent an knowing how these systems work ,you best bet is to take your vehicle to the dealer or some other ASE certified repair shop !

In addition, you have to remove every attachment, fuel lines, support brackets, covers, plates, mounting brackets, electrical, and misc. devices. Then reassembly is difficult and you need a computer to reset the parameters set forth by Buick.

The easiest way is when it is on the car; unplug the spark plug and test the end for spark, using a screw driver in the wire hole and grounding it on any metal part of the car that touches the chassis.

usually that is a sign the radio is broken but there is still a chance the speaker wiring plug in the back of the radio has become disconnected

code p0221 refers to throttle position sensorB/accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor B--range /performance problem====causes accelerator cable adjustment ( broken)--TP/APP sensor It also refers tp throttle position switch B/ accelerator pedal position (APP) switch B-range/ performance problem===same cause as before.

Could be a sensor malfunction. It's supposed to come on in limited traction scenarios

The most likely cause is a faulty door switch, probably driver side due to it being the door that is the most used.

There are usually two rely/fuse boxes One under the hood on the drivers side near the firewall. The other place is under the dash to the left of the drivers knee. Hope this helps.

if it is not powered then you will just have to push on it harder. maybe wear leather gloves just in cast the glass breaks. It will help if you get it warm first

It cost $65 each for the coil packs at your local Auto Zone Auto parts or like parts supply store. Putting them on is not hard at all. It can take as little as 10 minutes a piece to remove and them install each one or a little longer if they are on the back side of the motor because it is just a little less convenient to get to them. I would recommend replacing them all at the same time if you can use your savings of doing it yourself to just buy all 6 coils at one time. I rate this job as not that hard to do and you can even watch a youtube video on how to do it if you prefer watch first before you tackle the task.
