Where is turn signal flasher located on 99 dakota
For new readers: I have a 99 Dakota Sport V8 Manual Transmission, the inner fuse panel is on the left side of the dash that faces the driver's door. The fuse is the largest box fuse on the bottom left and the fuse is an E27. Mine cost $30 more or less (can't remember exact amount). I replaced it but my signals still did not function at all yet Emergency Flashers & wipers were fine. I went with a new multi-function unit (the signal/wiper arm, flasher button piece attached to the steering wheel). Easy removal BUT you must have a T20 Star bit that has a long extension for 2 screws under the steering column. You won't get the bottom cover off if you dont. So, the unit is what failed and now signals work. I could not find one less expensive than $45 at Auto Zone (incl tax) that was new. It seems that the 3 functions have separate wiring inside the unit which is why one can burn out or disconnect and not the other two. It's usually due to the steering wheel moving up and down or an electric overload. That's what the tech said anyway. I suppose you can take the unit apart and try fixing it with new wiring but that's a whole different fix and I'm no mechanic or electrician.
Just a girl fixing her truck. Good Luck Y'all.
What are the wiring colors
One wire provides power for both high- and low-beams from the light switch to the multifunction switch (on the steering column), and it is a light green wire. From the multifunction switch to the low beam lamps is a violet wire with white tracer, and to the high beams is a red wire with an orange tracer.

dont you have a owners manual. its says the chassis no location. if you have vehicle registration book, it will be having chassis number written. Usually vehicles chassis plate are seen at driver door side or between glass and dashboard or behind the engine below wind shield. chassis number is written in chassis of vehicle too. pull up your vehicle using lift and check the right side of the chase and you will see chassis number marked.

2006 Dodge Dakota 4x4 SLT Body Control Module location
I have a manual for a 2004 Dakota that is probably similar to the 2006 electrically. Dodge never called it a Body Control Module; earlier models did have the Central Timer Module (CTM) which functioned like Body Control Modules in other manufacturers vehicles.
In 2004, the CTM was replaced by the Integrated Power Module (IPM), which consists of the Front Control Module and Power Distribution Center, and is located next to the battery on the left inner fenderwell (the Front Control Module is underneath the Power Distribution Center, where you will find relays and fuses). There are several other modules which control various functions, and they communicate with each other through the Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus circuit, also called J1850.
The Front Control Module controls all exterior lights, except brake lights and turn signals, and the windshield wiper functions. Other modules (PCM, TCM, antilock brakes, heated seats, instrument cluster, power locks/power windows/power mirrors, etc) control other functions, but all communicate through the PCI bus.
Radio, CD player, and clock went out on 2006 Dodge Dakota
Idid see a service bulletin concerning radio. sound and display lost after engine crank. turn key off, then back to accessory position, radio functions work. the fix is to reprogram radio with new software. I also saw several codes listed for radio, they were manufacturer specific codes. did you check for codes?
Fuse blows on wiper when i start my 1999 dodge ram pickup
Hi my name is Allen!
When the fuse for the wipers keeps blowing, that means either the motor has a dead short within it and must be replaced, or the wiring going to the motor is damaged and shorting out on the vehicle body somewhere and must be repaired.
Here is how you check it; replace the blown fuse, unplug the connector from the wiper motor, then turn the key on if the fuse does not blow then you need to check the wiring to the motor if the wiring is not damaged anywhere replace the wiper motor.

Heater only blows out defrost
The defrost position is the default for safety so that air always blows on the windshield in case of frost. The most common problem is a faulty blend door under the dash.In most cases the door must be calibrated with a scan tool if you replace it.
Where is blower motor resistor on 2000 Dodge Dakota?
In your passenger side floorboard looking at your blower motor there should be a little small rectangular piece that's held in by two screws and with a wiring harness that has I think, I'm not exactly sure but I think four wires just to the left of your blower motor. I could be wrong but I'm going off of memory here.
