there should be an adjustable rod on the pedal under dash will need one or two 12mm spaners loosen lock nut screw the rod out of pedal a few turns the try it see if it works its possible the clutch may be worn out and need replacing or may be low on fluid or leaking from slave cyl or master cyl if the adjustment works tighten lock nut and your done

Well, I have never heard of an oil leak that only drips and/or burns when stepping on the gas pedal. Other than that, all I can say is that the problem is that you have an oil leak. You must VISUALLY inspect the engine to find out where it is leaking from (Hard to do over the internet). If you can tell me exactly where it is leaking from, I can give you instructions on how to repair it.

I don't have a very good description of what part you are working on, but sounds to me like you are either removing an engine or transmission and you are probably looking at a dowel pin. There are usually 2 in either the engine or transmission and they help to line everything up during reassembly.

IThis is ok changing parts but if you have another problem then changing all these parts were a waste of time ,first thing to do is to check for power to the petrol pump first before you go any further ,turn ignition on and then see if you have power to the cable connector on top of the pump housing .Then work backwards checking power to the pump relay then the power distribution box .

There are 2 sensors. One is used for the temperature guage Single wire connection - Yellow/white(1 on diagram). The one I suspect you are looking for is used by the ECU and is at the back of the engine, has a green connecting head with 2 wires leading to it, yellow and white/black(2 on diagram). Then there is a third used by the A/C(iii on diagram)

You may have a bad throwout bearing which is not good as the transmission will need to be pulled to replace it, If replacing the throwout bearing it is usually a good idea to also replace the clutch plate at the same time. This can be caused by keeping pressure on the clutch pedal while driving causing the throwout bearing to be constantly engaged therefore wearing out the bearing.

The capacity of the gas tank is 98 liters. Yes you can use other AC parts from other vehicles. But you might need to remount some of the parts like the compressor, evaporator etc..

computer doesnt control pump relay on such a old vehicle ,you have a fuse out or old dirty connections on the base of the relay so if all else fails then run a new feed wire to relay depending on which power point on relay has no power ,if its the feed from ignition to operate relay make a new feed from ignition switch and if no power to pump side of relay then run a new feed to this via a fuse .simple to sort out on such an old vehicle

valves need a regrind

The 3Y is a Toyota engine used in the Rocky/Rugger.
Setting up valve timing you need to set the no.1 cylinder on TDC on the compression stroke.
Turn the crank until the piston is at the topmost point of its travel. Determine this by inserting a plastic or wood dowel in the plug hole and watching it travel upward. Be careful that it does not snag.
At TDC the mark(see red arrow on diagram) on the crank sprocket will be at the lowest point(If the sprocket has been removed the set key -see blue arrow- will be at the topmost point)
Turn the camshaft so that the set key is at the topmost point and aligns with the mark on the engine. If the sprocket has not been removed, remove it now.
On the timing chain you will find 2 links that are lighter in color than the others. These 2 links have to be aligned with the marks on the sprockets before refitting the sprockets to the shafts.

It could be something simple like a tire. Or it could be a wheel bearing or a bearing in the differential.

manually adjust tappets ,12th inlet and 15 exhaust will do it ,set by the rule of 9 ,no8 down and adjust no1 no7 down adjust no2 and so on so whatever your adjusting adds to 9

You have to have the codes checked and repost. There are probably a 100 different things that will make the light come on
