This part to replace is call neutral switch and it's linkage. For now you can start the car in NEUTRAL and slowly move to DRIVE.

I would say that the gauge is ok but the problem is a blocked radiator cores that are not allowing the volume of water to pass to cool quickly. The high speed RPM makes the water pump work hard and if the water cannot circulate readily then the water will heat up in the block and head. When you back off the water circulation is just enough to cool the water . Have a flow test done on the radiator and if sufficient the a new radiator is the answer as flushing only cleans out the cores already flowing. Check the thermostat is opening all the way and replace it if it is faulty.;. If you do not have a thermostat then put one in as the flow rate is too fast to allow the water to cool.

Sounds like you need to check your converter. May be trying to stop up. Eventualy you may smell fumes. Take to a muffler shop and have it checked. It's hard to say this is what it is but it's where i would start. You may have got'en some bad gas somewhere. Good Luck to you.

You might want to try a new fuel filter, if its been a while sense its had a new one, when they start to plug it will act like that. You may also want to chk. the fuel pressure to see if the pump is getting weak, pumps going bad are a common problem on G.M. cars and trucks. but don't loose sight that it could be electrical, with todays cars anything is possible, but sense the light did not come on leads me to believe its the fuel thing.

look under the drivers foot well it is just a plug on fitting on the electrical part of the ignition switch .you cant plug a wire in .if you want to fit something you do that at a spare fuse section ,of the fuse box.

Have a front end safety check done first and repair / replace faulty units . Have a wheel alignment done but have them check the rear end alignment first as it affects the front settings. Worn bushes in the suspension arms allow the rear end to run side ways to the front.

On the 5.4 aand 4.6 trucks the egr port on the upper intake manifold clogs up with carbon. The other issue is the EGR DPFE ( delta pressure feedback egr sensor) will get condensation inside and through a code. The cheapest thing would be to pull the upper intake elbow and clean it. DO NOT CHANGE THE EGR SENSOR, try cleaning the upper intake first.

Lack of gas or lack of spark. There are a million ways those things can happen while a car is running.

If it has over 60000 miles it may need a transmission service, which includes a filter and fluid change, fluid may look fine but if filter is clogged and not picking up fluid fast enough when u give it gas the pump spins faster and forces fluid thru to shift, more fluid is needed to shift into higher gear.than to drive

QDM 1 or A this is internal in the PCM this code is telling you something is shorted to ground or drawing excessive current and Quad driver is in fail safe mode Most computers 4 of these drivers. a wiring diagram will tell you what they operate the test the components for hi ampere draw.

oil can go on spark plug by piston's ring or head gasket or seal of valves.do you have smoke from exhaust pipe when engine running or at start only
