My park avenue has star bit screws on both sides of the plate lights right at the top of the license plate holder. I just chaged them last week. I do not know what size the bit was and I am not sure your car is the same. My car looks just like the car in the picture just longer and a little bigger.

If your security warning light is on and it's refusing to start it is most likely that the anti-theft system has been triggered. Go back to the basics first. Some of these will sound obvious. Is it the correct key? Is the battery in the key fob working, (Does it work the door locks)? Is the battery on the vehicle fully charged? Has the battery been disconnected recently? If all of these are OK then there must be a more serious issue. All I can suggest is contacting a Good Auto Electrician and get him to scan the cars OBD2 system for trouble codes as clues to the problem. *NOTE* get quotes from a few Auto Electricians as the fees they charge can be very different.

have you done a fuel pressure test to check the pump yet?

Sounds like possible shorted diode(s) in alternator

To blame mechanic is always every ones first attack, even though it's possible......If he replaced the crank seal in the engine that is? The bearing in the tensioner do not seize, they'll make plenty of noise long before that'll happen.......tension strength get sofr or other pulleys get out of alignment. Try taking car back.....might get it fixed for free

The labor will be a few hours probably.....but it sounds like a step motor isn't working on passenger side(mode door not operating)

No such thing exists........leaf screen is there to prevent leafs from entering. so how could they plug a drain that doesn't exist in the first place

Need more info...... does it crank but not fire, or doesn't do either? if not fires...... did you replace the coil pack also? (sits right on top of the module) ???

Check all fuses and relays that are start-run related in the fuse box, it's under the back seat and will be labeled accordingly

Sounds like vacuum switch is either bad or there's a vac leak in the duct controls

First sign of ignition switch failing

1/2 inch.....but that will only remove the clutch disc, then tou have to remove the snap ring.....that can be difficult while compressor installed

I would think not correct. GM vehicles of that era were equipped with R.A.P(Random Auxiliary Power) it would keep certain systems on after shutting the car off.....(lights, radio, power windows) for up to 8 minutes. Unless you open the door, that would shut everything down. So if your power is staying on with doors open, most likely one or both of the relays in the RAP is bad

GM makes wire harnesses for multiple models with one harness, so not all connectors are used, if you have digital display......that may be problem .....check all fuses
