sounds like weak fuel flow. something blocking it or ???. it'll run off the carb bowl for a while.

Hey Steve, This isn't hard,,, please get a factory service manual.. spend a little $$ and save yourself MANY HEADACHES!! The manual will give you all the info yo need to do the job right.. you will probably need a press to remove and install the new bearings.

try hitting it with a heatgun, might loosen it up

Suzuki Vinson started slowing down in high gear till it wouldn't go. I put it in low and it went for a little while and did same thing

I assume engine is still running but losing drive. Simplest thing is
belt has worn.

might have a safety interlock, try the hand and foot brakes.
