If the machine is running okay before this happens, lift the seat and side covers , check for loose wires and plugs. 99 percent of time this is the problem is evreything seems to be working and it suddenly dies as your riding it.
How long does it run before you get bubbles? Sounds like the line is too close to something hot enough to boil the fuel, what mechanics call "vapor lock" Reroute the line or insulate it.

Sounds like the float bowl in the carb is sticking, go get a can called "Sea Foam" from your local parts store add about half the can to a full tank of gas take it for a good ride it will clean out any gunk and deposits in the carb and make it run good again i had the exact problem you are talking about with my wife's Suzuki Eiger 400 i let it sit for 5 months and it caused the carb to get all gummed up i ran Sea Foam in the gas and it runs like brand new again after riding it for about 45 mins.
This is the drive system for your quad... it take all the engine power and transfers it to the rear wheels,, its going to get hot,, If it starts smoking real bad... and smells worse.. drop by your local Suzuki dealer and talk to the service manager,, get his opinion.
Could be flooding. That usually only occurs when you have excess fuel lighting off in the exhaust. I have seen it happen on cars when the timing is way off. I would pull the carb and check the float level and replace the float valve.
