To try to disconnect the plug of the temperature sensoron the engine block and turn the start. If the fans topped working, then the problem is in the temperature sensor
You need to inspect all gas lines for obstructions including the gas tank , and especially the carb. I can bet dollars to doughnuts that it's a fuel problem something is blocking the fuel and by rocking it it's allowing the fuel to go through. hope this helps , let me know how you make out . Adam J
If you remove the Driver side palstic panel, there is a Black Pouch attached to the black wire conduit thatt you have to cut to see the 20 AMP fuse (be careful so taht you do not cut the red wires). I just did mine. You can buy it online on Amazon. Good luck.
