Still sounds like the pilot system in the carb is not clean... these are TINY passages.. several of them too! .. some hidden by blind plugs that have to be removed to properly clean the carb!!! If you are not sure how to do this.. take it to a professional!!!!
Carb needs cleaned. Once it gets cleaned or rebuilt always use non- Ethanol fuel. I have a 10 year old ATV and it has always had non-ethanol fuel and never has a problem. Use the same gas on your lawn mower,Weed Wacker, Rototiller and anything with a small motor. It will not gum up.
did you adjust the valves? check and make sure the fuel pump is putting out enough fuel, way past time to replace it. check your voltage too, the regulators in those are famous for dieing.
If you have no power to your starter, it will not start. Check the positive battery cable going to the starter and make sure it is tight and not burned.
