Question about Polaris ATV
Hi, my 100cc quad has a problem. It runs but every time it's shifts gear either reverse or forward it makes a loud clunk and jolts the machine slowing it down, It seems to me the gears are slipping but I have no knowledge on the subject so would be really grateful for someone's expertise.
I have one of these and it always throws my friends for a loop. You have to push the foot brake to get the bike in park or high. It should shift very easy with the brake down, if not check if the spring didn't come off of your brake pedal. I hope this helped.

The problem is a worn shift fork in the transmission. Replace the forks and check forward gear pinions and forward shift dog pinions for wear and replace if they show any signs of wear.
