Sounds like the float in the carburetor or needle valve is failing and gas fills up the bowl, rides down the cylinder and into the oil pan.
Do you notice gas pouring out into the air cleaner?

What does the oil tank in the front of a 1997 Polaris Xplorer 400 2 Stroke hold oil for? need to find out where the drain plugs are so I can empty them and Refill with new oil. Thanks!

Its the oil injection tank. This is the oil that mixes with the gas. Without and oil/gas mixture your 2 stroke motor will be ruined due to lack of internal lubrication. Some people will disconnect them and premix the gas due to a fear of failure of the injection system.

2001 yamaha kodiak gas is getting into the oil pan why is it making that do it

Sounds like you may have a problem with the float valve in your carberator. If it's stuck open, even when the engine isn't running gas could be building up in the carb because your carb float valve isn't limiting it. And if it's building up and filling the carb, then it will eventually drop into the engine and subsequent oil pan. Look for signs of excess wet gas in the airboxin. That's a sign something in the carb isn't regulating the gas right.

A KYMCO 450i UXV ,gas is getting into the oil. I changed oil and it ran about 2 weeks and quit. This is a throttle body and I have no idea why gas is in the oil?Can you help.Thanks.

, usually due to a leaking fuel line or malfunctioning fuel injectors. However, it is normal for a small amount of gas to get into the engine oil during normal engine operation.

My 2010 arctic cat 700 h1 efi won't idle. i cleaned the air filter and housing, installed new spark plug, drained tank and refilled putting in gas line antifreeze. i'm in pei ca. cold. help me with your...

If your engine is very, very cold, sub-zero temperatures, the oil may be affected. If it was working fine before and the only difference is the temperature, then the oil viscosity may be too thick to flow properly. (In Siberia, auto oil pans are heated with hand torches after stopping, so the oil with flow again.)

Just bought 2008 model 650 can-am max xt dealerhad 41 miles on it,they changed oil before i took it home ,it set in my garage for two days , when i went to ride it i checked the oil an it was over full...

If the oil is milky it has a bad and leaking seal somewhere that the gas is gitting in, or it has water in it. Water does not mix well with oil as you may know so I'd guess its gas is getting in. If it does run, change the oil right away then see if the oil develops the milky look again. Probably a seal would be my guess. Good luck.
