I have a Polaris 2008 Sportsman 300. I was driving it and the Speedometer went haywire. After about 5 minutes the 300 just stopped. Quit Running. Bought a new battery and it turned over about 3 times and then stopped. Won't turn over now at all and has no spart at all. Was told these do not have a Fuse box is that true? Any idea what the problem might be. Fred

ksweeten1 is talking about the pulsur coil. also sometimes the the spark plug wire breaks which usually happens when you are riding. Also if any power wire breaks or is loosened, even to a tail light it can cause this.

Had the same problem with my 2001 sportsman 90. Weak spark, sometimes no spark, would only run for a few seconds, ect. I found a partially burnt ground wire coming off of the coil. the coil is just above the carb mounted on the frame. Mine was the small black wire on top of the coil and it fixed the five second stalling problem immediately.
