Check for water in the fuel. Also check the carburetor bowl for fuel. You can disconnect the fuel line at the valve and run a bit of fuel out, make sure to run in both on and reserve position. The carb has a small fathead screw for a drain. Back it out a few turns to release the content of the bowl. Also check the air filter under the seat. Make sure it’s clean.

Spark Plug lead

in that order, test them all, swap plugs, swap leads, swap coil to find the culprit.

To me it sounds like, possible fuel lines being clogged and maybe need replaced. If you can prime it, and it ??s for 5 to 10 seconds, sounds like its just not getting fuel fast enough or at all through the lines after the initial prime and fire up. Possibly a new fuel pump may be needed. But definitely a fuel system problem. Good luck

First when it dies just jiggle the ignition key a little bit. You may have an ignition switch loosing connection. Also check the connections to the ignition module to make sure they are tight and dry. Also check inside the tank for any foreign material that can plug the fuel opening in the tank. When the engine dies the blockage floats away. I have also seen loose connections at the coil on some atvs.

On the left hand side of the machine directly under the seat area, you will find the coil. The thick wire facing toward the front of the machine will lead you to the spark plug. See pictures of coil attached.
