V= LWH (w)

policarpio_c,

I am uncertain of your question; however, I hope this answer helps you:

V is the VOLUME of a container, such as a cardboard box or a bottle (how much does it hold) in terms of "CUBIC" measure.

L is the LENGTH of the container from left to right
W is the WIDTH of the container from front to back (or the side)
H is the HEIGHT of the container from bottom to top (how tall it is)

The container's VOLUME (how much it holds) is determined by multiplying:
VOLUME = LENGTH x WIDTH x HEIGHT
V=LxWxH
V=LWH

DO you see what I mean?

If the box is 10 feet long, 2 feet wide and 1 foot tall, then

V=LxWxH
V=10x2x1
V=20 cubic feet

If you need further explanation, please add a comment and I will answer you.
