This has to do with where on the body the positive electrode is placed..in aVR the positive is on/near the right leg...a positive deflection, upright wave, is seen if the electrical activity, heart depolarization, is traveling towards the positive electrode...since the heart is rotated towards the left in the chest, normally electrical activity trends left...so in lead aVR the electrical activity is traveling away from the right so it gives a downward deflection of the waves

As it is a thermal printer, the printer head can become faulty. If so you will get a poor printout. It is not easy to say by words how can you remove and repair the same. if you can sent me your email id then i will sent you its service manual. It will help you to remove and reinstall the printer. As its in PDF format and sized large can't sent it through fixya. So if you sent me your email id as a replay to this through fixya, will sent you the service manual.

You have wrongly connected the limb leads. Limb leads are those leads which we connect in the arms and legs.
In your case the leads in the arm have been interchanged. Thats why you get the message and prints inverted avR and avR.
check the leads and properly place it.

it doesn't use any toner. it give print using a thermal printer. if every thing working fine and not getting the print out , the first check the paper u used. it should be a good quality wax or chemical paper.
the thermal printer head can become faulty, if printout is not coming. also check the battery.

Even if it is plugged in it will not operate correctly without a good battery. When the pump starts to take a blood pressure it draws a lot of power and this forces it to shut off. You should replace the battery and let it charge 12 hours and you should be in business.

Does the printer work in auto mode ?

Did you put the paper correctly. There is a black mark on paper which is sensed by paper sensor .If you put paper up side down then paper sensor won't be able to sense any paper & gives you error for rifilling paper .

If this doesn't help you then You need to replace battery .

Thanks for using Fixya.
