Control Pad not working But Heats
The most common fix to heating pads is cleaning out the control unit on the cord. Unplug the heating pad, then use a screwdriver to open up the control unit. If parts are loose, tighten them. Otherwise, you may need to invest in a new heating pad.
Bunn Coffee Maker Leaks out the bottom
I have an older BUNN B10 pour-o-matic that I thought was leaking from the bottom. Upon close inspection, I found that it was leaking from the worn out washers located on the top of the tank, allowing water to run down the sides of the stainless steel tank. There's a great fix offered on Fixya.com that suggests going to a hardware store and buying a Gardner Bender GHG-1575 rubber grommet with a 3/4" hole and install it into the large hole in the basin. Then place a metal washer on top of the grommet and snug it up with the threaded fitting. Many folks say it's a great fix. I went a different route. I called BUNN customer service and spoke to a very nice woman who understood my needs and sent out a free repair kit that contained a new fitting, washer, and seal. I received it in a few days and it's working great. Beats going out and buying parts for a work around repair. BTW, the repair kit is called "Universal Retail Seal Replacement Kit #37091.0000"
Wega Espresso Machine is slow
Bad pressurestat or bad heating element. PS feeds power to heating element, heating the machine til its up to pressure, which then turns the pressure stat off. If either of the two pieces are bad neither will work properly.
Could also be the machine is overfilled which causes the machine to take longer to heat up.
Wega espresso
Steam out of the top is a bad safety valve.
Steam out of wands when they're off is bad gaskets in the valves which usually means they need to be rebuilt.
Steam out of groups is a water blockage and/or pressure stat is going bad and causing the machine to over heat.
Can be any one of the following. Need more information to answer properly.
Need replacement steam wand wega epu 2
wega epu. Commercial machine. I'd check espressoparts.com. Any faema, wega, nouva simonelli wand will screw into the wega valve.
They also have precision wands from japan. Sproline series i believe it is called.
I have no association with the site but i do know that any of the parts Listed will work.
Wega nova
Could be a couple of different things.
I'd first check the water level probe to make sure it isn't dirty or damaged.
After that it can be the inlet selenoid valve thats damaged or has limescale in it. If that selenoid is broken it will not allow water into the boiler.
Either way if the pump is running it means the machine is sending a signal calling for water so it has to be something associate with the water level probe, etc.
Im looking to source a wega Mininova espresso machine in SA?
Wega is good, generally, but avoid this Mininova. Tell me if you are looking to a home machine, or for commercial use. Either way, it proved unsuitable. We gave many Mininovas to scrap dealers, having made the mistake of damaging our reputation by promoting them.
I have a commercial wega double espresso and
This issue can happen if the site inlet water pressure falls below 1 bar. The boiler fills but as you draw drinks it won't refill.Do you service the machine ever and replace the water filter? Limescale build up may be another reason you are experiencing problems.Trouble shooting guide here
