Go in to the folders in your programfiles and find the remainder of files that wasn't deleted from the uninstall.
Go to the CD-rom and right click Open then klick the Setup.exe
Computer dosen't read disk but
If I understand what you are saying, you have a desktop computer that can't read a CD/DVD but your laptop computer can.
Sounds like the CD has gone bad on your desktop and must be replaced.

The first thing you do when buying something like this is to look on the box and find what O/S it needs. Also, you may have a 64-bit system and the program will only work on a 32-bit one.
You can, if you want to, load the VirtualPC program (now owned by Oracle, but still free) and load Windows XP on a virtual machine. Then the progs will run. But somehow I don't think this the exact answer you were looking for!

I can"t get my game to load on my laptop
Your Laptop graphics card &/or memory amount may not be compatible. Lots of laptop graphics chips do not meet game specs.
Go to the start menu /programs/acceesories/ command prompt.
open a prompt window and type "DXDIAG" hit enter.
this will open Direct x an let you see your system memory & graphics information. compare it to the minimum specs of the game.
Car does not move
Check joypad and input settings. Ensure that the joypad is installed in Windows control panel, test it and calibrate it.
If you are using the keyboard, check keyboard input settings in the game.
Check if the game setting for gears is set to auto or manual.
To start the car you have to use the throttle button. If gears are set on manual, you also have to put on the gear before pressing the throttle.

As a software guy, I would have to advise against piracy. :)
There are several ways to get Visio for cheap. If you are a student, there are discounted versions available online and in stores. Also, you can check with your school for even cheaper options sometimes. Try the university bookstore if available. Or a Computer Science department maybe.
If you are working, and your company uses MS Office applications, find out if they have the "Microsoft at Home" program. You can get MS Office applications for really cheap that way. I can get Visio through my company's "Microsoft at Home" program for a few dollars.

If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
