My bettas keep dying.
Bettas,or Siamese Fighting fish as some like to call them, are one of those hit and miss type of fish. Some will live a very long time, while others have a rather short life span.
If they see thier reflection,or if there are two or more in a tank, they will kill themselves/each other.
Did you happen to notice if your's was bouncing off the walls? If so it was fighting itself.
When you purchase one check to see if it has a white cotton looking mass near it's gills. This is a disease and needs to be treated...so don't buy it. If it's top fins appear to be torn it's probably an older one,so don't buy it.

It's easier to get the goldfish.lol.
Good luck.
