How to test t stat on tb-5r

***Take the sensors loose and put them in a cup of ice water, then take your ohm meter and measure the resistance of the sensors. . They both should measure around 29,000 - 31, 000 ohms -If you are having temperature fluctuations or your display temp does not match actual box temp, then first try and then test the sensors. -If you sensors are ok then check that all the fans work...ie. evap fans, condenser fan, also there is another fan in the bottom that helps air circulation around the compressor compartment. -Check that the condenser is clean and that nothing in the environent could be affecting the unit. **Only after you check all these things any any other related things would would I deem the main control board to be bad. **No offense everyone, but more often than not people want to change the main control board first and it is generally not the problem. Don't change the most expensive part first if you're not entirely sure it is the problem! :) lol I hope this was helpfu. Turbo Air also has a tech support 310-900-1078 Anonymous

2 of 3 sliding doors don`t close on tgm-69r

there is a string and a weight on the inside of each door. if you cannot find the string it may be broken. lift and remove the door from the unit, then remove two screws from both top sides of the door and the top of the door itself will come off. you can then lean the door over, the weight should slide out.

Tubo air MSR-49NM will not

This is popular problem with thermostat. Thermostat is the switch that should stop the compressor and evaporator fan when the required temperature reached. No the thermostat switch contacts are stuck on and leave the compressor and evaporator fan running continually. So to solve the problem you need to replace the thermostat. The thermostat is the exterior digital with temperature indication.

Need to replace door gaskets

Emmie, There are two gasket options for that model! If you have your unit's serial # we can ID the exact gasket you need. Replacing your gasket is a simple process and it looks that your gasket is a simple snap in option. Here's option1 http://www.coolergaskets.com/turbo-air-gasket-25-1-2-x-53-1-4-1/ & Here's option 2 http://www.coolergaskets.com/turbo-air-gasket-25-1-4-x-53-1-4/ It looks like both gasket options are made out of the same profile material but the dimensions changed per when the unit was manufactured. Double check your existing gasket's dimensions to determine which option is the best for you. Or shoot us an email or give us a call with your Model and Serial # and we can narrow it down for you. 855-288-2259 [email protected]
