What OS does your computer have? The Tascam site, https://tascam.com/us/product/us-100/spec , indicate that the US-100 works with Windows XP through Windows 8 32-bit or 64- bit using a WDM (standard driver) or Mac OSX 10.3.9 through 10.8 with the standard Mac Core Audio driver. The manual for the US-100 is available from the Support tab and confirms that driver should be available from Windows Update. For Windows 10 (recent releases) and Windows 11, you need a signed Windows 64-bit driver. A number of companies decided not to update drivers for older USB devices with these OS versions. Try unplugging your ethernet cable and disabling your anti virus program. I was running Sonar Producer Edition and it kept dropping out until I disabled my AV then it all started working like it was supposed to. Shut off any other programs you know that detect adware\malware\spyware as these can cause the same type issue. Hope this helps.

One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. Programming Notes • If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote. • Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality. This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
