Monitor "out of range"

Out of range happens when the video output of the computer is set to something the monitor cannot display. Like trying to talk to someone that does not understand your language. Just because the previous monitor was the same brand does not imply it will handle the same input. Either buy a different monitor or borrow one till you get one that works, then change the video output to something your new monitor recognizes. I have this problem at church - if I change the video output to a real high resolution the main big monitor will display it but the smaller one will say "out of range"

Install 4 port USB hub

plug the cable that came with the hub into the computer, plug the other end into the hub (probably a usb mini port). Now plug in any devices into the hub.

When turning on my computer I get no picture on my screen. I have checked all conections and made sure that they are all properly conected. What needs too be done?

Was your monitor previously working? Is your monitor set to receive input from the cable its connected to? There are different inputs for monitors usually. Make sure your monitor is set to receive input from the cable (vga, hdmi, DVI, ect.). If your monitor is very old, it may just be that's it's giving out. If your monitor is new, it may be that it wasn't working to begin with. If its not the connectors, then the monitor may just not be working.

Out of range

Make sure you have your video card driver as up to date as possible. It just means the Sync of the monitor is not matching that of the video card.
