there are many styles of bobbins out there and you need to make sure that you have the right style for your machine. If you do then I would suggest making sure that there is no lint or dust in the bobbin area. good luck.

have you taken out the bobbin case and all the parts around the bobbin? sometimes lint and threads can get stuck in there and throw off the timing of how everything works. There is not a lot of room for error with all of those moving parts. Possibly put ONE drop of sewing machine oil on the center spindle of the bobbin compartment. You might want to check to see if there is anything in the way of the gears moving also. Sounds like what my brother embroidery machine does if there is gunk in the gears. good luck
