Check that the pawl you put on hasn't come off. If ok, turn pulley on bottom of gearbox both ways. It should turn freely both ways, If it only turns one way then possible something wrong with clutch ratchet or the spring inside the ratchet. Did you take the pulley off? If you did then are you sure you tightened it back properly. Failure to do so would allow the spring in clutch to get damaged.

I am not familiar with the model but if the spare parts, if any are needed, are available all faults can be fixed.

There are two big questions - what has gone wrong and how much will it cost to fix and is it worth it.

Leaking water internally is a rather vague description. I assume you mean the washtub is filling when it isn't supposed to?

If it is clean fresh water it could be the solenoid fill-valve that is leaking or alternatively is receiving current when it shouldn't.

If the water is grey, dirty, soapy water it is probably a syphon-back situation that sometimes happens when the machine discharge is badly connected and the required air-break is blocked.

hi there, i have the same machine and just got the E50 after son loaded the machine, ...
to correct it i pulled out the load of washing, turned machine off and also at the powerpoint for a couple of minutes...- if you do not turn off at the powerpoint , the machine will continue to give E50.
i then reloaded machine with half of sons load and had no problem after.
note: his jeans and jacket was wound tight around the agitator and the load was way too full.
hope this helps you. :)
