Hi , new christmas present

One site I found that has videos and movies ready for the Sansa is:

http://sansavideos.xm.com/

Movies, Music Videos, Family Guy, etc.

Once you get the hang of converting videos you find on YouTube and others, you will be having no problem stuffing your Sansa full of them.

My SanDisk records my voice muffled. The device is attached to my shirt about 15-20cm. from my mouth. I am reading from and explaining a book which is held in front of me. I'm sitting in a small kitch

Sound travels at 1140 ft/sec or 347.472 meters/sec. At a vocal frequency of say 347 Hz for a male this would have a full wavelength of 1m. To cancel a frequency would need a 180 degree phase shift, where negative air pressure cancels out positive pressure. In other words, it takes about 1/2000sec for sound to pass from mouth to mic directly, and guessing around 1/500 sec to reflect from book back to mic. Add to this the fact that higher frequency consonants such as 'T' and 'S' sounds may range 8000 Hz to 10000 Hz which shortens the wavelength, it is very possible that some reflected sounds are cancelling the higher range, causing muddy sound. Try experimenting by moving book away or re-positioning the PVR.
