Usually caused by corrupt data in your program. If the battery has not been replaced on time, it is very common.

It is most likely that the battery was not replaced on time and it could not back up the memory when you unplugged it. The battery should be changed every 4 years or so. You have probably lost all programming. If it is showing an error number or message, check your manual

To clear the error code do the following:
Turn key to P mode
Turn power switch off
Hold Subtotal key down
Turn power switch back on (while holding the subtotal key)
Wait for print out
Turn your key back to Reg position.

After you do this it will "Close" the register so you will have to log back on.

I haven't seen a setting for language on that model so a dealer would probably need to load a ROM file for a different language. It should have the correct language from factory for that destination country.

There is usually a release trigger between the back feet on the bottom of the drawer. If not, you need to take the screws out of the bottom of the drawer.
