Why is the base station not working when the power supply is good?
It is highly unlikely that you will be able to buy just a new base station from the original manufacturer. If you are still covered by the warranty, return the unit and try to claim a brand new unit.
Try taking a call even though the red light doesn't work. Sometimes, the bulb can be faulty. This however, shouldn't prevent you from making a call
Volume setting on the 3088
You have to do it during a call. Press the top navigation button (blue ring) to increase volume, press the bottom section to decrease. The setting is retained when you end the call.The left button will mute the microphone.
