Hi There I am trying to locate the raptor 3.5"
Here's your solution, I had the same problem. Purchase Thermaltake Black Widow PC Gaming Hard Drive eSata + USB Docking Station (part number: ST0005U). I got mine at Best Buy for $55, but I'm sure you can find it online for much less. Good luck - trust me this works..... oh and by the way, dont buy a SATA-to-USB cable because your USB port on your PC does not provide enough power to the hard drive and you won't be able to access your drive.

My 500GB ext. VOX hard drive has been making a
A screeching noise is usually related to power issues with the drive. It could be very simple to recover the drive or cost anywhere between 500-2,700.
As far as end user things to try...there isn't much you can or SHOULD try.
The one thing that you should try is removing the drive from the enclosure and connect it to a computer or install the drive in another enclosure.
If you're not good with computers then I imagine just taking the drive over to a local computer repair shop would be the next easy thing to do. If I was a tech there I would just plug the drive in and see if the drive appears. Takes only 5 minutes so hopefully they won't charge you to check it.
Hope this info helps, if you have any more questions please ask. I specialize in Data Recovery.

External hard drive won't work with Mac
It needs to be formatted for macs.
I had this problem and with mine as well. (VOX is a horrible company)
One of these two processes should work but I forgot which I did.
Go to spotlight and search for disk utility. If the drive shows up on the left you can click on it then. Click the erase tab. select mac formatting and then click erase.
If it does not show up when you do this you will need to do the same process on a PC.
My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
