I don't have any solution for your problem BUT you can resolve mine : what color are the rings of the AR51 component (next to the big dissipator)

I think the reason is is because the song is in the wrong format where did you get the song from was it the same place you usually get songs from and did you change the format by accident this could be the only problem that you're having

There is a possibility that the format may be different then the MP3 Player. You may need to connect the MP3 directly to the computer in order to transfer the files.

You can either uninstall windows media player or you can restore windows to an earlier date and time.

Mine JUST did that and after a while I pressed in the emergency start button on the top in the little hole.

try puting a cf card in it or look up problem on google if this doesnt help hold in menu and power for 4 seconds see if this helps in undoing the upgrader message if not try connecting it to a windows pc with xp or 7
