Proscan TV has no remote and the power light is going from off and on / The screen is black, it comes on sometimes, very rarely, It also makes a small high pitched noise while it's blinking.

I cannot get my suddenlink remote or any remote for that matter to work with my proscan tv.? I tried the usual 991 and push up on channel button until tv goes off but it doesn't work.

When I Turn Proscan TV on it automatically turns

You may have power supply DC filter caps problem, that will be the first place to look.

I have a proscan model PLCD5092A I do a channel scan and every thing is good until i power the TV off then on and it looses most of the scanned channels it found.

I suspect something is wrong with the memory back up of the TV. It could be chip problem, or the power to the chip is lost due to a capacitor failure. Unless you are good at electronics it's one for the repair man.
