6800gt power issues
It may be a sign the fan is going/went bad. You should try unhooking the fan. See what happens. Turn the system on...If it works, great. You should replace the fan. Video cards have fans as a bonus to cool them down. If a fan goes bad and gets a short it will affect the video card. Hopefully the heat didn't damage the card.
Good Luck,
Tim

I uninstalled drivers now pc shows a blank screen on reboot
Turn your PC's power to off and disconnect its power cable.
Open the PC and move the graphic card to a new PCI slot connector.
Connect the power cable and turn your PC to on. Reinstall card's drivers (from the CD you get with the card).
Let us know with your resultes.
Good luck.

Have you actually purchased Visio, or are you just trying to get it for free?
As a software guy, I would have to advise against piracy. :)
There are several ways to get Visio for cheap. If you are a student, there are discounted versions available online and in stores. Also, you can check with your school for even cheaper options sometimes. Try the university bookstore if available. Or a Computer Science department maybe.
If you are working, and your company uses MS Office applications, find out if they have the "Microsoft at Home" program. You can get MS Office applications for really cheap that way. I can get Visio through my company's "Microsoft at Home" program for a few dollars.
My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
