Myy rocketfish powerline ethernet switch kit RF-HTN 105 and 106
These type of things can not be plugged into power boards they have to be plugged into the wall socket, you can then plug a power board into that if you want, The other thing is they both have to be on the same circuit or same breaker switch then you just plug a network cable from the modem to the powerline switch & the other one plug a network cable from the switch to your computer & bingo it's done

I'm using an 85Mbps Powerline Ethernet Adapter.
EOP connections can see interruptions when the power line itself has noise on it. Air conditioning motors, hair dryers, fans...basically anything that can create "noise" on a power line can cause interference to ethernet over power lines. The first thing to do is see what may be causing the intermittent nature of the internet cutting on and off. We moved to EOP over a year ago and experienced the same problem in two rooms of our house. In both cases we found that the upstairs Air conditioner unit, when it was on, was throwing so much noise on the power line that it was interrupting the signal and our wall units would stop "chatting". When the unit cycled down, everything would work fine again. We had an electrician come out and install EMC noise filters to that took care of the problem with the air conditioners adding this noise and we've been trouble free save for the use of a hair dryer now and then.
