these units are easy to open and have few parts which make them easy to reassemble too! I would open it up and look for loose wires at speaker or on the volume control. good luck

Your question is quite vague. What do you really want to know? Do you want the name of the trans? Do you want to know if its a 4 sp or 5sp or automatic? Just go online and Google it under Vauxhall transmissions types.

It sounds like bad connection. Either that or the battery is low. Clean the battery terminals first. If that does not solve the problem, have the battery tested.
