Car charger not working. can recharge with
Check the fuse in the end of the car charger. The tips usually unscrews, and in some cases you will have to take it apart to get at the fuse. If the fuse is still good then most likely the wire is broken or the soldering has let go at the end that plugs into the cars power plug. Replacements are sold at most locations that sell these units or if you are really stuck, try one of the major truck stops, these are a common wear out device for truck drivers.

Amcor 3990 GPS navigation device screen backwards
If your screen is actually installed backwards take it back and exchange it for new one, but if the screen is not actually installed backwards then go into the settings screen on the gps unit and find the orientation section, this will change the display to something a little more readable to you. And as a side note some of these things look like they should be straight up and down but they actually designed to work sideways, gives you a wider view and the manufacturer a little more screen room to put more information onto the screen.

My n20 gps some times does not search for sat
the most common reason for this is a low battery
ALWAYS fully charge the battery before the trip either by the USB or the AC charger.Car charger does not fully charge but maintains a level of power only
If you plug it in to car power and start engine you will damage both the battery and the SIIRF chip
Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

We are flying to Palm Springs, CA in Nov. and want
If you live in the us you dont have to upload anything unless you just want the new maps.(if the case then unlock the sd card)All of the 3900 sold in the us had all states on the sd card.
If you dont live in the us then get a cheap new sd card and try the process you did before again.
I do not know if the amcor servers are still online cause i purchaced the new software that had the maps on it(IGO 8) whitch could be an option if all else fails
Nav-cam 6400 reports no gps
Hi i had same problem. When you switch on Nav Cam, go to System - System Info - Factory Reset - Yes. Nav Cam will then restart& should be ok.
You will not lose your personal info ie: postcodes etc.
Make sure memory card is installed properly.
All we need now is updates if anyone know where to get them.
