Slipping clutch on low switch with Milwaukee 2601-20

this tool has a 5 year limited warranty so I would try and have repaired under warranty. I looked at a breakdown and it doesn't specify how the chuck is on but I would to think it is threaded. the clutch is an assembly and there are no replacements parts other than the assembly available. Let me know if you need more assistance.

what is wrong with it? If it is dead usually there is nothing that can be done, if it is melted you can try cleaning the contacts and looking for a loose connection. Let me know and I will try and help

Milwaukee 18v battery

No, it's showing that the battery is either not taking a full charge or the charger is not charging the battery properly. Find a Milwaukee service center, they will check them and most likely replace one or the other.

MAGNET LIGHT BLINKS AND MOTOR WILL NOT TURN ON

Magnetic drills have a safety system built into them so the motor will not run unless the magnet is on and the tool is sitting on between at least 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch steel. If your drill is sitting on enough steel you may have a problem with the sensor system inside the drill. Those problems are usually electronic parts related and, most of the time, they are R&R (Remove & Replace) method is used until you fix the problem.

I have 4 Milwaukee 28v

Your batteries are at the end of their rope and need to be replaced. All batteries die, some sooner, some later. And if you do not maintain them in a manner consistent with directions they will fail sooner!

How can I fix my drill. I was drilling and it froze up on me. You can turn it one way but not the other

Place the drill bit in a bench vise with the whole machine on it together spray the chuck in with good enough wd40 and take a bench hammer and a great plastic hammer , place the angled tip side to the 3 claws of the chuck that are holding the bit and beat slowly and with care the machine from the bit some times switch inbetween the place to beat every claw of the chuck make a little time to do this but do not forget wd40 to spray after and if the machine is beat from the drill spray the whole chuck inside and try to unlock in the most cases it will function again , otherwise there must be an chuck replaced.

Using it and it just quit. Like it is not even plugged in. Was working just fine. Now nothing. Let it cool for over an hour thinking maybe it had an overload switch or something.

Bill, It could be a switch problem or it could be bad carbon brushes. You can check the brushes by removing them and seeing how long they are.
