I have something that fell into the lint trap and is under the drum! So when I turn it on I hear something hitting the drum scared it's a lighter and might blow! So how do I open to get to grab what's under the drum?

sounds like your thermostat is not working. first check the sensing bulb to be sure it is not ice encrusted, that will insulate it from feeling the actual freezer temperature. if that is clear, your thermostat need to be replaced.

Go down to your family business at Lowe's or Home Depot and go to the fixings aisle. You will find the nut to fit. Take the part the nut goes on. I am guessing it is an 'acorn nut' which is decorative and has a closed top, or you can just take one of the other nuts.

Question edited for a lot more clarity and the correct name of maker in at least one place :>D No one has done this job and documented it. Normally you start at the back as the top has to come off. Then there are a couple of screws down at the kickboard, and you remove the front and the door. Be careful as there are wires to the door switch. With the top and front off, you can slip the belt onto the drum by putting the the belt between the drum and front rollers (or drum slides). Feed the belt past the idler pulley and onto the motor spindle. Remember the idler pulley puts tension on the back of the belt. It is a great opportunity to vacuum all the dust out.
