Increase sensitivity of speakers & subwoofer.
Hi, am afraid the only way this could be done is going inside the enclosure and modify the circuitry of the light activating section. If you are comfortable working with soldering iron, testers and printed circuit board (pcbs) then you might have a go for it. Simply add a preamp in between the sensor and trigger (or amp) for the light. Other than the input and output of the pre-amp, only the + and gnd leads need to be connected. Get one of those preamps from RadioShack or hardwire one using LM741. Just make sure the B+ is roughly the same. You may want to add a trimpot to be able to adjsut sensitivity.
But then again, there might already be a trimpot (variable resistor) adjustable for this purpose. You still have to open it up and look for it. It should be near the frontend (sensor) of the light trigger no the ouput.
If you're not too comfortable with any of the above, you probably should seek the help of an electronics technician capable of component level work.
Hope this be of some help and good luck.
Vocalizer 3 output checked cables and swapped out. 1300 watt power adaptor lights up. sound indicator light is on but no sound. tried mono and stereo. power adaptor problem?
If you've checked the cables, swapped them out, and ensured that the power adapter is providing power to the Vocalizer 3, but you're still not getting any sound output, there are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. **Check Volume Levels**: Ensure that the volume levels on the Vocalizer 3 and any connected devices (such as mixers, amplifiers, or speakers) are turned up and not muted.
2. **Test with Different Inputs/Outputs**: Try connecting the Vocalizer 3 to different inputs on your mixer, amplifier, or speakers, and test with different output devices if possible. This can help determine if the issue is specific to certain connections or devices.
3. **Inspect Settings**: Check the settings on the Vocalizer 3 to ensure that the correct input and output sources are selected. Make sure that any settings related to mono/stereo output are configured correctly.
4. **Test with Different Power Adapter**: If you have access to another power adapter with similar specifications, try using it to power the Vocalizer 3. This can help determine if the issue is related to the power adapter.
5. **Reset the Vocalizer 3**: Some electronic devices can benefit from a reset to their factory settings. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset on the Vocalizer 3, and try resetting it to see if it resolves the issue.
6. **Contact Technical Support**: If you've tried the above steps and are still experiencing issues with the Vocalizer 3, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem or malfunction. Contact the manufacturer's technical support for further assistance and troubleshooting guidance. They may be able to provide additional insights or recommend repairs if necessary.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to diagnose and resolve the issue with the lack of sound output from your Vocalizer 3.

My roadking rk4000 wont charge. I turn it off to charge it but there is no indicator light at all, any suggestions?
Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first.
But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable. If these suggestions don't work, you may try the manufacturer's customer support.
