Who fixes lexar flash drives

A few important bits of information about using faults and possible fixes on usb drives

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports(com&lpt)right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems for a computer and its parts click start control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in one box then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box (I have found better results ticking the first box then reurn and tick the second box) you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive also you might need to do this

click start click to open on my computer you should see your usb drive F: right click select properties there will be an array of options select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing

permissions make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box then click permissions make sure all three boxes are ticked you full control change and read in windows 7

How do I copy a saved letter, saved to my documents on to my jumpdrive so I can take to to get copied?

Open your favorite file manager (on Windows you can press the Windows and E keys simultaneously to bring up Explorer). Your jump drive will show up as a removable hard drive. You can then drag&drop your documents to it, the same way you copy any other files from one place to another.

Is there a manual for the lexar mp3 mda256-100? My daughter gave me one and it has more features that I would like to use.

Is it packed when your daughter gave you the mp3? If so, there should be a manual in the box. Or download it from Internet.Yes, music can be saved to the SD card. In fact generic sd is okay.electronics wholesale

How do i load music on my lexar ldp-400 mp3 player

Hi skidney11...

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up.

I have a lexar 1gb jumpdrive. found in my old

You're looking for the option to "Format" the flash drive. Plug it in to your computer, and depending on the operating system, you're going to click Start > My Computer or Compute > Then right click on the Flash Drive, it should be listed on the left hand side of the screen. Find the Format option and select it. That should delete all of the files.

How can I get my pictures off my Lexmar removable

Hi.. You might check to see that the external drive is actually powered up, does it need to plugged into power or is it USB connected. Try a different USB port. Go into start settings system device manager and see if the USB ports all come up ok, or if there is a yellow ? Question mark, meaning that the system isn't recognizing one or more f them (And, if that's the case, you probably need new USB drivers on the PC.. - unplug the USB device, tell windows to update the driver (or delete the bad device and reboot - windows should rebuild the USB device ))

Worst case, take the drive to a computer repair place and tell them you want to get the pictures off the drive. Unless the drive itself has died, should be able to get photos off it.

My laptop(dell) not DETECT lexar

My first item to Trouble shoot i think would be your media card reader, check in your device manager to see if there are any conflicts in the driver or if a driver is even installed for it. if there is a conflict, go to your pc manufacture website go to support , drivers an download the card reader and reinstall. Also is there any data on the card? and if not has it been formated yet?

Hi there.

Connect it to pc and find it in 'my computer', open it up. Click on view/select all and move the songs to your pc. Right click the player icon, select format/FAT, ignore 'Quick format' , then virus scan all your songs, and move them back onto player.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you!
