Accidentally reformatted now data inaccessable

I'm afraid you've lost all of your data. Next time use a separate External USB Hard Drive or a USB Flash Drive for that kind of process. But, go back with the drive to the original desktop and see, maybe everything is still there and the other PC did not see it/touch it, hope so. Good luck.

, hard disk problem

Hi, blinking light may indicate activity to or from hard disk and computer, maybe the disk partition was damaged or lost due to incorrect ejection or a virus, you could use a free partition recovery software to try to fix it, for example EaseUs.

There was a power outage and now I can't get the

I have damaged a few external drives, by power interruptions. Sometimes the damage is too much to get access. However on three occasions (3 different 3.5" drives) I managed to get them to be accessible, by mounting them inside a desktop computer, and connecting them to the power and data connections (EG To Sata power cable, and to Sata sockets on the motherboard.) Windows (or the motherboard) appears to be more tolerant of slightly damaged drives. Two of those drives are still mounted within a couple of my desktops, and have not faltered since. HTH, Rob
