if it is not accesible as a device in my computer, there should be within the players menu a factory or default reset or format command,or a reset pin hole on the side, this should return to factory settings

Im not trying to be a ****, but I have to say thats what you get for buying something from K-Byte. They are like the Hyundai of consumer electronics - worse actually - more like Yugo.
If it is new, return it, if its not - see if you can RMA it via K-Byte (which I doube they will) - but as far as fixing it...there really isnt a way = those things are not made to be repaired, simply tossed and get a new one...
My suggestion - get an ipod and dont buy cheap stuff anymore - it never pays. (IF you would have bought an spent a little more and bought an ipod originally - you wouldnt be in these predicament right now...)

There are several ways to get Visio for cheap. If you are a student, there are discounted versions available online and in stores. Also, you can check with your school for even cheaper options sometimes. Try the university bookstore if available. Or a Computer Science department maybe.
If you are working, and your company uses MS Office applications, find out if they have the "Microsoft at Home" program. You can get MS Office applications for really cheap that way. I can get Visio through my company's "Microsoft at Home" program for a few dollars.
