Well you could remove the HDD from the POS, install it into a computer with a CD, remove the HDD currently in the computer, set the POS drive to the Primay Master, install Your OS and any other software (be carefull as to NOT format the POS drive, It may contain important files), remove the drive, reinstall it in the POS system, Put back the drive you removed from the computer.
The #3 bell lock is located next to the #2 lock it allows the bell ring or remain silent during use. This key locks the key arms so they cannot be pressed down. #3 key is zig- zag shaped You need the keys to program the unit!! If you need any help (more Info please)

Most likely bad capacitors. They can be replaced but I wouldn't recommend a novice trying to do so. It requires soldering skills. If you can get into the monitors and check the inverter boards to see if any of the caps look like the ones in this video

It is basically a PC, if you format it you will lose everything on the harddrive. You then need to install whatever stock management software you want on it.
