Try removing the driver which you have for the mouse and restart the computer.
If that doesn't help, check the batteries in the mouse.
I don't think it's a zipping problem
Create a folder and put the zipped file in thre and extract to same folder. Then turn off computer, install the peripheral, and reboot. When computer detects presence of new hardware it will ask for driver. Then direct the computer to the folder where you have all of the extracted files and the OS will find the necessary driver and take care of business for you.
How do i connect the inland wireless mouse and keyboard. if the cd isnt reading
You can download the drivers from their website, however most keyboards / mouse devices will install automatically with generic drivers, may want to try plugging them in to the computer first and see if they install on their own. Or use an existing know working mouse and keyboard to download drivers from the manufacturers website.
I was unable to find an exact link for drivers, so these are probably generic devices that will install on their own.
