the car should have a climate control which runs the heater and ac together to maintain a set cabin temp
have the operation checked out

My guess is you are confusing the purpose of the search and scan features.

I would first try checking a few junk yards to see if you can find a new climate control panel, as if you buy them new they are crazy expensive and there is a core charge to go with them, to encourage you to return the old one to them for "Recycling" aka to be re-manufactured. I have an 08 Santa Fe GLS

that is just a heavy foot by the sound of it. Front tyre wear quicker because the is where the drive is obviously, but also because the car lifts at the front on take off and the load on the wheel is lighter making the wheel spin. I use two font tyres to one back one on a Lexus ES330 despite rotating tyres for Summer - Winter sets here in the Great White North.

A dealer might be able to tone down the Sport Mode to something a little more sedate.

The other possibility is the choice of tyre brands and models. Chinese tyres are not as good as Goodyear or Michelin.

Seems to be common. Loook at all the videos

Go to Hyundai motors factory website and explain this to them. They might get the dealer to fix it since the problem was never fixed correctly before the warranty ran out.

The noise is very likely from the power steering pump, that is the most common cause, it is either low on fluid or the pump is defective. See picture of pump below.

it will have a low pitch bearing rumble at idle
it will be very audible if you use a noise magnifier ( screw driver with the blade against the body of the pump and the handle in your hand held as a cup against your ear, or a stethoscope available from an auto parts shop
if you are experiencing water loss from the radiator/cooling system there is a small drain hole under the body of the pump that drains water from a failing water pump seal before it gets to the bearing

We have auto part supply stores here. I wonder if you do. I get my parts from a auto parts supply store and it is cheaper than a dealer. When going make sure you have make - model and year . They will need all the info for your car.

Your Santa Fe only has provisions for connecting brake and turn signal lights.

Recourse depends on where you are. In Australia for instance you may have recourse due to consumer legislation.

The fact there was no metal in the diff oil indicates it may be some other problem. I would take it to another shop, a trans specialist or someone knowledgable about Hyundais if you can find one, for a second opinion.

If you belong to a motoring organisation you may be able to get a tech inspection from them too. In the US the AAA can direct you to a good mechanic in some areas eg

.

The air intakes at the base of the windshield are supposed to direct rain water to drainage ducts in the front door pillars. The ducts can become clogged with leaves and debris. This may be the source of water on the carpet.

you need to get it serviced .

There was a factory recall for this problem which apparently related to the brake switch. So check with hyundai service on that recall.

I do not believe it does on this. You will most likely need a knuckle attachment for you ratchet but that should be it for getting it out.
