what does FIX mean? is yours dead?
or are you doing an UPGRADE fix, but the answer is the same.
no reason stated to need new GPU chip, or card,
non at all, reasons matter, gaming are you, why not say that and what games you run or better in the future,!

13and as such It sure can uses PCI video cards vast (makers)\
the issues are, what slots it has and what PSU it has.
HP used a ASUS mobo here. came new with XP the virus magnet.

  • Motherboard Name: A8N-LA
  • with old GeForce 6150 LE chip. on the MOBO embedded.
    to run this chip go to nvidia.com and get your driver for your unstated OS. ok>? this can in fact run. (hope)

    the book says integrated graphics,.(means on board)
    so is that bad or is the VGA card added bad.?
    this pc can use x16 graphics card sup to 75watts.
    higher powered cards need a new PSU v2.3 up.

    for adding and upgrade PCI-express X16 card.
    you need to tell the helper what are you needs for graphics
    there are like 200 cards that work here, made for 13 years.

    here is your current GPU chip

    at 11AM see X16 slot for modern GPU cards.

    nor can we see what was done to this PC since new.
    and matters big time.

    usually by flashing it , any good computer shop can assist you .

    It happens, they dont last forever. I hope that you have backed it up so that you dont lose everything. You need to order a new drive and install it.
