Faulty micro switch in Hitachi NR90GC
Hi, had the same problem. After market micro switch replacement for Hitachi NR 90GC from RS Components Stock number 682-1888 MPN; D2HWC203MR.Note; this requires soldering in with heatshrink and cutting flyleads to correct length. Part of the alignment issue can be the handle screws working loose over time with use. Don't force anything back when assembling and use a little grease on contact parts.

Air leaks would bubble like a hole in a tire tube.
Why doesn't it fire?
Bad fuel is the #1 reason for this - check the expiration date on the bottom of the fuel cell. Some stores don't rotate their stock, so it doesn't matter if you just bought it.
If you're sure the fuel is good, I would check the cycle -
1) Disassemble the tool, plug the battery in, without depressing the nose, just pull the trigger (Fan should start) If the fan doesn't start, it will either be the trigger or possibly the fan motor.
2) With your hands in a safe location away from the fan blade, depress the head switch (Fan should start & light should be steady green), then pull the trigger - you should have a nice sharp, blue spark.
If step 1 is OK and step 2 produces no spark, it will most likely be the ESU

I've had that happen before and what I found was one of the Staples or nails had misfired and wedged before leaving the gun. read the manual on how to get to it for that particular model and also it might be a good idea to adjust your pressure accordingly to keep it from happening again. If the force isn't set proper then a nail could Jam , block the mouth and not allow any other nails to exit. It's very easy to do and not that hard to fix once you've done it at least once. Good luck.
My hitachi nail gun NR90gc2 will not fire
Check the date of the bottom of the gas. With the gas removed when you fire it you should hear a faint spark sound from the top. If gas is in date try putting it in your pocket for 10 minutes to warm it up. Open the front and make sure the piston is pushed all the way up into the machine.
